Nursing
The Nursing Department at Wildwood School strives to provide support to our students and their families, as well as educating our staff on health-related issues. We take a holistic approach to wellness, taking the time to understand the whole student when providing care and guidance. The nurses at Wildwood encourage family involvement with our department as we provide high quality care to our students.
On a daily basis, the nursing department assesses ill or injured students, passes prescribed medication and provides necessary first aid. The nurses maintain communication with families via Parentsquare or phone call, if needed. Each school year, health screenings are completed and documented for all students. The nursing department maintains and updates medical files, including physicals and immunization records, for each student.
