Summary: Keeps Wildwood School, camp, offices, or similar buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.
Shift: Monday- Friday 10am-6pm
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Sweeps, mops, buffs, and scrubs floors. Vacuums hallways, stairs and office space.
- Cleans and services restrooms with mops and disinfectants. Stock and replenish supplies.
- Strip and wax floors.
- Sets up and takes down chairs, tables, and other equipment for special use of building.
- Cleans interior glass, and drinking fountains.
- Dust blinds, vents and base boards.
- Checks to ensure that buildings are heated, cleaned, locked, and unlocked in readiness for all activities.
- Empties office trash and garbage containers.
- Informs senior custodian of maintenance issues.
- Makes recommendations for improvements or new equipment.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write and speak effectively.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software.
