Resumé of Rudy Vido, M.Ed.

Rudy Vido is the Director of Traumatic Brain Injury and Behavioral Services for the Wildwood Institute. Mr. Vido is formerly the Project Manager of the Wildwood Neurobehavioral Resource Project, a New York State Department of Health grant-funded statewide project established to assist individuals with traumatic brain injury and challenging behaviors to live successfully in the community. Prior to becoming Project Manager for the Resource Project, Mr. Vido was the Director of the Altamont Traumatic Brain Injury Program in Menands, New York. The Altamont program was specifically designed to serve individuals who have incurred a brain injury and also suffered from the disease of addiction. Mr. Vido was also a special educator in Queens, New York and a program director and adjustmental guidance counselor for Boy's Clubs of America in New York City and Albany, N.Y.

Mr. Vido has extensive training and expertise in the field of traumatic brain injury and substance abuse, as well as experience in developing supports for individuals with a traumatic brain injury and challenging behaviors. In addition to direct technical support for service providers, crisis intervention and behavioral assessment for levels and frequency of services, Mr. Vido speaks on topics related to the provision of services for individuals with a traumatic brain injury including:
