Resumé of Gerri Pouliot, B.A.
Gerri Pouliot is a Consultant and Paraprofessional Trainer at the Wildwood Institute. She specializes in working with children with disabilities and/or challenging behaviors, their families, and school professionals. Ms. Pouliot offers hands-on training to teachers and paraprofessionals in a variety of educational settings, and has expertise developing behavioral strategies for students.
Ms. Pouliot has been employed at Wildwood Programs for fifteen years, ten of which were spent at Wildwood School working with students with developmental disabilities and neurological impairments. She has worked with many students and interdisciplinary teams designing behavioral programs, as well as providing instruction to students. In addition to her role at the Wildwood Institute, she serves as a full time service coordinator for Wildwood Programs. Prior to working at Wildwood Programs, Ms. Pouliot was the Executive Director of before and afterschool programs in Ballston Spa and Mechanicville. Ms. Pouliot has acted as an agency liaison to the Department of Social Services and was a member of the Childcare Coordinating Council. She is also an experienced grant writer.
Ms. Pouliot attended Russell Sage College and graduated Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology, minoring in Child Development and Behavioral Strategies.
