Resumé of Laura Gibney, Psy.D.

A graduate of the University at Albany, Laura Gibney, Psy.D., is a licensed psychologist and certified school psychologist. In addition to consulting for the Wildwood Institute, Dr. Gibney is the consultant psychologist to Wildwood School. Dr. Gibney is also a private practitioner with Saratoga Psychological Associates, and consults to multiple school districts and agencies throughout New York State. Dr. Gibney specializes in the diagnostic evaluation of, and treatment planning for, developmental, behavioral, emotional, and educational disabilities. She provides training to school districts and parents of children with special needs, as well as individual and group counseling for children and adolescents with disabilities. Dr. Gibney is an adjunct instructor at Siena College in Loudonville, New York, where she teaches Child and Adolescent Psychopathology. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and National Association of School Psychologists.
