Accounts Payable Bookkeeper

The incumbent is generally responsible to insure that all of Wildwood Programs bills are paid in an accurate and timely manner.The A/P bookkeeper complies and maintains accounts payable records.
Requirements: Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A valid New York State Driver’s License and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
After School Program Instructor
Department: After School Program
Location: Latham
Primarily serves a support to individuals with learning disabilities, neurological impairments and developmental disabilities, ages 14-21 in the areas of community integration and employment skills. Secondarily serves as a support to adults with disabilities within the Transitional Day Program.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's Degree (B. A.) from a regionally accredited four-year college or university or four years experience working with people with disabilities or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Day Services Relief/Per Diem

Works as part of a community based support team to assist students and adults with neurological impairments and related developmental disabilities in participating in meaningful activities.
Requirements:

A.) from a regionally accredited four-year college or university or four years experience working with people with disabilities or equivalent combination of education and experience. Pre-Vocational Specialist

Program Coordinator for Instruction
Department: Wildwood School
Location: Curry Rd. Ext. or Latham sites
Provides educational and behavioral guidance as well as supervision to teachers and classroom staff at Wildwood School.
Requirements:
- Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; five years teaching experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- NYS Certification in Special Education or related discipline. Certification or course work leading to School Administration and Supervision (SAS) or School District Administrator (SDA) or School Building Leader (SBL) is recommended.

Residence Counselor, Awake Overnight
Location: East Greenbush
Promotes independence, self-esteem and community integration, to individuals with developmental disabilities in Wildwood operated home settings. This position is differentiated from Residence Counselor in that it requires the incumbent to work primarily on a shift that includes the hours between midnight and 8 AM.

Residential Counselors

We are looking for dynamic individuals to help promote independence, self-esteem and community integration in people's lives. Residential Counselors work with adults with developmental disabilities living in community residences. Assist with daily living skills, helping to prepare meals, transporting and other activities. This is a direct care position. This is a great position to grow in - we provide full training and certifications. Candidates should be able to work independently and have strong interpersonal skills.
Requirements:
High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.Must be cleared and maintain acceptable record under the NYS OPWDD mandated criminal background check process.

Plans, coordinates and directs the activities of staff in support of consumers with learning disabilities/neurological impairments in one or more residential settings.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one-year supervisory experience in a residential setting with individuals with developmental disabilities or related experience. A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
Site Supervisor

Under the direction of the residential manager supervises and coordinates variety of activities of staff in support individuals with developmental disabilities in Wildwood operated home settings. Assures staff activities promote independence, self-esteem and community integration by performing the following duties.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one-year experience as a residence counselor working with the developmentally disabled or related experience and/or training. A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required. Must be cleared and maintain acceptable record under the NYS. OPWDD mandated criminal background check process.
Wildwood offers trainings for Medication Administration, First-Aid, CPR, and SCIP-R certification.
