Jason Rafalak

Jason is currently the Music Therapist at the Craig Acadamy (part of the Watson Institute) near Pittsburgh, PA

Jason received his Masters in Social Work from Syracuse University in May of 1999. During the summer of 2001 he voluntered at the Baha'i House of Worship for North America in Wilmette, IL. He plays bass and has performed with a number of different jazz and classical groups around the Capital District of New York. He enjoys attending concerts and practicing on any of his several basses. He performed on three of the works on the CD "No Cover before Nine" released by Syracuse University and has recorded on several other albums.

Jason received an Associates degree in music from Schenectady Community College in May of 2001. While there he performed with the Chamber singers, the Jazz Ensemble and the Wind Ensemble. He also has performed with the Schenectady Symphony Orchestra. Jason has worked as a substitute teachers assistant at Wildwood, a Social Worker at Wildwood's summer camp and a relief worker at several of Wildwood's community residences. Jason received his Music Therapy degree from Nazareth College near Rochester, NY. on May 10th, 2003. .

Jason completed his Music Therapy Internship at Wildwood School in June of 2004

Jason performs on Bass and Mandolin with Brad Yoder, One Sweet World, The Outcat Quintet, MK Groove and Monkey Gone Mad.

Jason lives in Pittsburgh and is the Music Therapist at the Craig Acadamy (part of the Watson Institute)
