Pennies From Heaven
In May and June of 2005, Wildwood students fundraised $400.00 by collecting pennies, asking for donations and selling pizza to support the Friends of Sri Lanka Fund established by Ruth Pelham of the Music Mobile. www.musicmobile.org/friendsofsrilanka/

The fund was established to help the villagers of Hambantota, Sri Lanka replace... belongings lost when the tsunami hit in December of 2004. Money has been raised to help purchase fishing boats, fishing nets, playgrounds, childrens’ clothing and school supplies. Most recently money was collected to purchase stoves for the women in refugee camps in Hambantota, Sri Lanka so that they can once again cook for their families. The $400.00 raised by Wildwood School will be used to purchase 12 stoves!
